The poster for Grass on the Gulch 2024 was created by the incredibly talented, Emily Dwan! Get yours at the merchandise tent! Be sure to stop by and see the original painting the poster was created from, as well as more art by Emily on display. Emily Dwan is a professional visual artist based in Morrison, Colorado. Acrylic paints are used to craft her abstract landscapes that aim to capture the essence of a moment rather than realism. Emily uses a modern approach to Impressionism that she calls “Electro Impressionism”. MEET THE BANDS! Brandywine and the Mighty Fines Saturday 8/3 5-6:30pm A lively cross between roots, Americana, and bluegrass, Brandywine and the Mighty Fines, connects to audiences through thoughtful songwriting and clever mashups. Playing a mix of originals and classics from bands such as the Grateful Dead and the Rolling Stones to Dolly Parton, the Mighty Fines charm listeners with their authentic presence and vocally driven music. Formed in the Foothills of Colorado, Brandy Ray (vocals, lyrics, mandolin), Matthew Schexnyder (vocals, lyrics, guitar), Joshua Ray (vocals, lyrics, guitar), Maya Fabrikant (vocals, fiddle) and Joe Gibb ( bass ) bring multiple years of performance, chemistry, and songwriting to their music which delights audiences with both high energy grooves and heartfelt tunes.Button -

We’re excited to offer yoga on on the Gulch this year on Saturday before the music starts. The class will be on the stage lawn from 10-11am with local yoga instructor Julie Noyle. Julie has been practicing (and loving!) yoga for 20 years. Julie has taught a variety of classes over the years and really enjoys the intuitive nature of yoga instruction. She challenges her students, all while meeting them where they are in the hopes of achieving confidence both on and off the mat. Anyone is welcome! this will be an all-levels yoga class focusing on alignment and the fundamentals of a Vinyasa flow class. This class will include a warm-up series, standing poses, core strengthening, and a cool-down series. We will practice linking breath to movement with the goal of leaving feeling balanced and rejuvenated. We hope to see you on the mat!!Button -

Opening Grass on the Gulch this year we have the incredibly talented Jax Jordening Jax is a country & western artist based out of Conifer, Colorado. Inspired by artists like Cody Jinks, Jackson Dean, and Colter Wall, his original songs and covers have an edgy, outlaw country feel. Grass on the Gulch is a FREE 3 day music festival on a historic 80 acre private ranch in Conifer, CO. This is the 3rd annual Grass on the Gulch. We started in the summer of 2020. We were all missing live music and musicians were missing playing, and we realized we were able to throw a safe, socially distanced concert on the ranch. It has since grown from 1, to 2, and now 3 full days. Grass on the Gulch 2022 is August 12th through 14th and features 9 bands, mostly local from our mountain area, and a gospel jam Sunday as well as church service and free community picnic sponsored by Conifer Community Church. We will have food trucks, vendors, a kids area, and frisbee golf. We are still looking for more volunteers, sponsors, and vendors.
